Harmony Cellars is proud to support local non-profit organizations, charities, and community events. To ensure fair consideration and compliance with laws and business policies, all donation requests must adhere to the following terms and conditions:


 

Eligibility

  1. Qualified Organizations: Donations will be considered for:

  • Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
  • Schools or educational programs
  • Community service groups
  • Charitable fundraising events
  • Other organizations or causes aligned with Harmony Cellars’ mission and values
  1. Age Restrictions: Requestors and recipients must be at least 21 years old.

  2. Geographic Limitations: Priority is given to organizations located within San Luis Obispo County.

  3. Event Type: Donations may be declined for:

  • Private parties
  • Political or religious advocacy events
  • Events involving minors where alcohol is served

Request Process

  1. Lead Time: Requests must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event date.

  2. Form Requirement: All requests must be submitted via our official donation request form available on our website.

  3. Required Information:

  • Organization name and tax ID (if applicable)
  • Contact name, email, and phone number
  • Description of the event or cause
  • Event date and location
  • Type of donation requested
  • How the donation will be recognized
  • Proof of tax-exempt status (if applicable)
  1. Limitations:

  • Due to limited resources, Harmony Cellars may limit donations to one per organization per calendar year.
  • Harmony Cellars has a limited budget for donations each calendar year. Once this budget has been met, additional donation requests will not be approved for the remainder of the year.

Restrictions

  1. Alcohol Law Compliance: Donations of alcoholic beverages are subject to state and federal alcohol laws. In some cases, donations may be restricted or prohibited.

  2. Resale Prohibited: Donations may not be resold except as part of an approved fundraising event (e.g. silent auction, raffle).

  3. Marketing Use: By submitting a request, you agree that Harmony Cellars may list your organization or event in promotional materials or social media, unless otherwise requested in writing.

  4. Non-Guaranteed: Submission of a request does not guarantee a donation. All decisions are final and at the sole discretion of Harmony Cellars.


Notification

Approved donation requests will be contacted via email or phone. If you do not hear back within 30 days, we regret that we are unable to fulfill your request.
